Description
Electric Release Devices are used when manually opening of the door is to be controlled by either central control or a guard with the key to open the door. The door pops open approximently 3" when energized allowing the inmate or guard to manually slide it to the fully opened and secure position. To close the door the central control or guard with a key needs to energize the device so that the door pops 3" in the closed position allowing the guard or inmate to slide the door to the locked and secure position.

Housing construction: 3/16" HRS w/10ga HRS cover
Door widths available: 2'-8" to 4'-0" in 2" increments
Door heights available: 6'-8" to 8'-0" in 1" increments
Pilaster keyed: Front, back or both sides
Backplate: Is removable if shop maintenance is required
Options Available:
Housing Top: Flat-Top Style is available
Housing heights: 1'-2" and 1'-4" are available
Electric key switch: Mounted on the Pilaster front, back or both sides
Intercom: Mounted on the Pilaster front, back or both sides
