DDS Pre-1993 Flat Track to Round Track

This 7850-0001 Track Retrofit will allow facilities to upgrade their exsisting flat track device to a current round track device. The kit comes with the required trackbar, carriage wheels assemblies and weld mounting fixture.

Installation

Installlation Drawings: Engineered installation drawings are included for each area where the product is to be installed

Pre-Installation Proceedure: Unbolt the door from the carriage assembly. Remove door and carriage for access to the existing flat trackbar. Cut the flat trackbar away from the housing and make sure the area where the new trackbar will be mounted is free of surface obstacals that would impair a tight secure installation

Installation Welding Proceedure: Use only Certified DEC Journeyman Installers for the installation proceedure. Layout and install the trackbar per the drawing supplied using the weld fixtures included with the kit. Clean and dress any exposed welds prior to paint touchup.

Installation Proceedure: Use only Certified DEC Journeyman Installers for the installation proceedure. Remove and replace the carriage wheels assemblies. Reinstall the carriage in the transom and attach the door hanger. Adjust the door for proper alignment and function. Cycle the door and adjust until it operates smoothly and locks securely.
