Chain Drive Devices are used at Entrance or Sallyports when full control opening of the door is to be controlled by either central control or a guard with the key to open the door. The door opens at a rate of 36" in 6 seconds and can be reversed to close or open at any point during the cycle allowing the central control or guard have full control of its position. To close the door the central control or guard with a key needs to energize the device so that the door returns to the locked and secure position. The door can be manually opened with the Pilaster Key

Motor control: a 1 second solid-state delay switch to protect the motor

Motor clutch: is adjustable from 0 to 45in lbs pressure

Electric key switch: mounted on the Pilaster front, back or both sides

Chain Drive Cell Devices are used when opening of the door is controlled by central control to open the door. The door opens at a rate of 36" in 6 seconds and can be reversed to close or open at any point during the cycle allowing the central control or guard have full control of its position. To close the door the central control needs to energize the device so that the door returns to the closed, locked and secure position. Manually opening the door has to be accomplished at the Manual Release Cabinet located outside of the cell.
